The undersigned, hereby submits this application for an Effingham Knights of Columbus Scholarship, including a true and accurate list of School, Church and Volunteer.
When selecting your council’s Knight of the Year, follow guidelines similar to those used by the committee in choosing Knight of the Year. Eligible Knight of the year recipients must be a member in good standing with the Knights of Columbus. Knight of the Year is usually chosen from those Knights named Knight of the Month in the preceding months.

The Knights of Columbus Scholarship Committee will select the scholarship recipient. Decisions will be made based on a combination of the student’s accomplishments, essay, letter of recommendation, and application’s completeness. Financial need is not a consideration, but the student is required to be enrolling in college.

The Ascension Council 10932 of the Knights of Columbus will once again be offering scholarships to young men and women who are entering Freshman year of High School or College. Eligibility includes the children or grandchildren of active or deceased Knights of Columbus of Ascension Council 10932.
